The Story
Named for its distinctive silhouette when seen from above, Guitar Island sits quietly off Havelock's coast, skipped by almost every standard itinerary in favor of Radhanagar Beach.
The appeal here is simple: a small, mostly undeveloped island with a quiet cove and reef that hasn't seen heavy boat traffic.

How to Get There
Reached by chartered boat from Havelock jetty; there's no scheduled ferry, so trips need to be arranged locally or in advance.
Travel Tips
- Go early in the day for calmer water and better light for photos
- Carry your own water and snacks — there are no facilities on the island
- Combine it with an Elephant Beach snorkeling stop, since boats often pass nearby
